Zoo Med Creatures Sand

Instructions: Empty contents of Creatures Sand into your terrarium. Add one or more bags depending on the size of your habitat. Always have clean water/dish available for your creature pets. Some desert tarantula species require higher humidity levels to prevent from drying out and this can be accomplished by adding moistened Zoo Med's Creature Soil or Eco Soil under a shelter in your habitat. For species with higher humidity requirements and for burrowing species, mix sand with moistened Creature Soil Coconut Fiber substrate. Start with a ratio of one part sand to 3 parts soil by volume and adjust as desired. Spot clean as needed and replace every 3 to 6 months or if a foul odor is detected.
