Where are your in-store party locations?
We are able to host in-store parties in our stores that have dedicated event rooms including: Calgary Crowfoot, Calgary Shawnessy, Calgary Deerfoot Meadows, Red Deer, Prince George, Edmonton South Park, Grandview/Surrey and Saskatoon Stonegate Petland locations. Our other stores offer offsite parties, please enquire for details.
How much do in-store and home parties cost?
Prices vary depending on the number and age of the children. Please contact us at 1-844-761-3982 for more information on our party packages.
Is there a limit to how many kids can come?
Our in-store facilities can accommodate a maximum 15 children and 5 adults. Please note, we need to know how many people will be attending so we can send the right number of presenters to ensure everyone’s needs are met and the pets are well cared for during the presentation.
What kind of pets do they bring to my home?
The number and type of pets brought to the presentations will vary. If you have a preference toward small and furry critters, or perhaps slithery and scaly creatures, let us know at the time of the booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Do we get to pick the pets?
Generally, this is too difficult as you may stop by your local Petland store and see a certain pet you’d want at the presentation, but in the meantime, it may be adopted to its furr-ever home. We always do our best to fulfill requests for specific types of pets at all of our presentations; however, there’s no guarantee on what we can bring.
How long are the parties?
With all of our parties and presentations, we offer a one-hour interactive session with the pets. For our in-store parties, we also offer an additional hour for food, drinks and gift opening in our event room.
How far in advance do I have to book?
It’s recommended that you book a minimum of three weeks in advance in order for us to have the best opportunity to accommodate your requested dates and times.
Can we have a Petland party outside?
For the safety and security of the pets in our care, it’s not possible for us to host a party outdoors.
Do I need to have anything set up before Petland comes to my home?
Please have an old sheet or blanket laid out and hand sanitizer.
