The Exo Terra Reptile UVB200 VHO T5 Bulb delivers medium levels of UVB radiation to replicate semi-shaded or partially sunny habitats, making it ideal for occasional baskers and reptiles that move between sunlit and shaded areas. With a 7% UVB output aligned with Ferguson Zone 2 and the Mesophotic Zone, it supports healthy vitamin D3 synthesis and efficient calcium metabolism to help prevent metabolic bone disease (MBD) while encouraging natural basking behaviors. Featuring Exo Terra’s advanced Sunergy™ phosphor blend, developed with German precision technology to closely mimic the sun’s UV spectrum, this T5 lamp produces highly effective UVA and UVB emissions with greater penetration than traditional T8 bulbs, making it suitable for taller terrariums or those with dense screens. Designed for seamless use with Exo Terra T5 fixtures and compatible with standard T5 holders, it provides reliable, biologically effective UVB output for up to 12 months. By establishing a proper UV Index gradient, from higher levels at the basking area to shaded zones with little or no UV, reptiles can safely self-regulate their exposure.
