VetriCleanse™ offers multiple benefits for pets, addressing everything from skin and coat care to general hygiene. It’s a versatile, safe, and effective option for pet owners. Here are the main benefits:

Safe and Non-Toxic: HOCl is naturally produced by the body’s immune system, making it a safe and gentle option for pets. It is free from harsh chemicals, bleach, and alcohol, making it suitable for direct application on pets’ skin, fur, and sensitive areas like eVetriCleanseyes, ears, and paws.

Gentle on Skin and Non-Irritating: HOCl is non-irritating, even on broken skin or sensitive areas, so it can be used on pets with allergies, sensitive skin, or conditions like dermatitis. It does not cause stinging, making it a pain-free solution for pets.

Effective Against Pathogens: HOCl is a powerful molecule that kills bacteria, viruses, and fungi on contact. This is useful for wound care, as it prevents infection and promotes a clean environment that helps wounds heal faster.

Supports Wound Healing: HOCl has natural anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce redness, swelling, and pain in wounds or hot spots. Its ability to clean and soothe makes it ideal for cuts, scrapes, hot spots, and other skin irritations.

No Harmful Residues: HOCl breaks down into a simple saline solution, leaving no toxic residues behind. This means that if pets lick treated areas, there’s no risk of ingesting harmful chemicals. It’s also safe for repeated use without worrying about buildup or toxicity.

Odourless and Reduces Stress: HOCl is odourless, unlike many chemicals like hydrogen peroxide and chlorhexidine, which can have strong scents that are distressing for pets. This helps keep pets calm and comfortable during treatment, making it easier for pet owners to apply.

Versatile for Multiple Uses: HOCl can be used for a variety of pet care needs, from cleaning the skin, outer ear, around the eyes, cleaning paws after outdoor walks, or freshening up fur. Its versatility makes it an all-in-one product that’s convenient for pet owners.

Effective for Skin Conditions: For pets prone to skin conditions like ringworm, yeast infections, or allergies, HOCl provides relief without needing harsh treatments. It can soothe irritated skin, reduce itching, and help control skin infections, promoting overall skin health.

Environmental and Pet-Friendly: HOCl is environmentally friendly, breaking down into harmless saline, so it’s safe for pets, pet owners, and the environment. It won’t harm surfaces, furniture, or outdoor areas, and it’s safe for regular use.

These benefits make VetriCleanse™ a gentle, effective solution for pet health and hygiene, providing powerful relief without the downsides of traditional chemicals. Its safety, ease of use, and versatility make it a valuable tool for pet owners.

Additional Details

What is HOCl?

HOCl, Hypochlorous Acid, is the combined element of Hydrogen, Oxygen and Chlorine.  EnviroNize® HOCl is safely produced by way of an electrolyzed brine solution with formula specific controls and setpoints. In our bodies, HOCl is produced inside white blood cells and once formed, it becomes one of the fundamental mechanisms of our human defense system – battling pathogens and bacteria within our body to maintain overall health.

How does HOCl kill microbial pathogens?

The molecule of hypochlorous acid is HOCl. This molecule is unique in that it is neutrally charged unlike hypochlorite (OCl-) which is negatively charged. This is important as disinfectants and microbial pathogens interact with each other similar to magnets. If you bring together two negatively charged magnets, they will repel each other. Bacteria and hypochlorite (OCl- bleach) are both negatively charged and behave like two negatively charged magnets repelling each other. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is neutrally charged and is not repelled by bacteria. HOCl easily penetrates the walls of the bacteria and destroys them with its strong oxidation potential.

Hypochlorous Acid is a strong oxidiser. It is destructive to pathogens and fungi because of its high “Redox Potential”. Hypochlorous Acid robs electrons from bacteria thus destroying it. With pathogens, HOCl reacts with and destroys the cell wall causing necrosis (rupturing of the cell) or apoptosis (programmed cell death). Anything left of the cell contents are then also destroyed by the HOCl. Even though a virus is considered non-living, it too is destroyed in the same way. Despite the destructive potential to living organisms, HOCl is produced by our body and is used by our immune system. This process is called phagocytosis. Whenever the immune system is compromised, the body releases white blood cells to fight the invading pathogens. The white blood cells attack, surround (or eat), and destroy (digest) the pathogen using a process that creates solutions that involve Hypochlorous acid as an end product. Even in weak solutions, HOCl is lethal to pathogens, but tolerable to mammalian cells.

As a general rule,do not mix HOCl or any formulated products or compounds with other substances or solutions.

Changes to our shipping policy due to the Canada Post Labour Negotiations:

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has launched a nationwide overtime ban for employees in both the Urban and RSMC (Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers) bargaining units. This is a legal strike action and means that CUPW-represented employees will refuse to work overtime across the company. As a result, Canada Post will continue operating but customers may experience delays.

We will continue to ship out orders using Canada Post if you have chosen this as your method of shipping.

We advise you to stay informed by checking Canada Post's website for updates.

As of August 27, 2025, Canada Post stated on their website:

For the last 21 months, Canada Post has negotiated in good faith with CUPW to reach new collective agreements that begin to address the company’s challenges while minimizing the impact on its employees. On August 20, Canada Post received counter-offers from CUPW in response to the company’s best and final offers of May 28, 2025.

The company and CUPW met today at the bargaining table. After many months of difficult negotiations and mounting losses, the Corporation was looking for workable solutions to be brought to the table that would get the parties closer to a resolution and end the uncertainty for employees and customers.

Unfortunately, CUPW has either maintained or hardened its position on many items and added new demands, and the gap between the parties remains substantial. Several proposed items would increase the Corporation’s operational costs. While the union’s offers included some part-time employee component to address weekend delivery, CUPW’s proposed approach remains unaffordable, problematic and complex to manage.

After carefully reviewing CUPW’s comprehensive offers over the past few days, the Corporation today urged the union to revisit its offers to align with the realities confronting the company. We remain open to reviewing and discussing amended proposals.

Both parties need to agree on an approach that addresses the Corporation’s challenges, supports its people, and starts to secure the company for employees and customers. We are ready to make Canada Post an organization that better meets the needs of all Canadians, while building a financially sustainable future for the company. At the Industrial Inquiry Commission, Canada Post shared urgent changes needed to help put the organization on a solid path for future success.

Canada Post remains committed to reaching new collective agreements through the bargaining process. We’ll continue to keep our employees and all Canadians informed about the negotiations and the urgent need to respond to the company’s challenges.

In the event that there is a Canada Post national work stoppage:
