The Indoor Hunting Cat Feeder is a complete bowl replacement for one cat. Instead of filling the bowl twice a day, fill and hide the three (3) Doc & Phoebe Mice morning and night. Your cat will hunt, catch, and play with many small meals day and night, as nature intended. The Hunting Feeder Solves:

Feed the right way, twice a day!

The Introduction:

Put food and your cat's favourite treat in the trainer at bedtime. Remove the food bowl overnight, so your cat can use the trainer in private.

The Mouse:

Once your cat has the hang of the trainer, use the portion filler* to put one scoop in each of the three mice. Start with the dispenser wide open. As your cat learns, adjust the opening to increase the challenge. Remove the food bowl and put all three mice in its place.

The Hunt:

Use the portion filler to fill and hide all three mice per cat (morning and night). Hide the mice around the house. Start simply at first. You can increase the difficulty of the hiding spot as your cat becomes an expert hunter.

*The portion filler is based on the average 10 lbs (4.5 kg) cat eating the average food. Make sure your cat is eating a healthy portion of food every day.

To make all of your cats happy, we recommend 3 Doc & Phoebe’s Feeders (mice) per cat, twice a day. Now each of your cats can fulfill its natural hunting instincts morning and night.

Each Doc & Phoebe's Indoor Hunting Cat Feeder includes:

1 Trainer with multiple dispensing holes
3 Feeders each with one adjustable dispensing hole
3 Feeder Skins to simulate the tactile feel of prey allowing your cat to grab, claw and use its teeth as it would in the hunt.
1 Scoop to hold 1.6 tablespoons (approx. 1/6th the daily ration of an average 10 pound cat)

Canada Post has stopped all services during their national strike.

Canpar has issued a delay in service notification due to increased shipment volumes and inclement weather in some areas.

Petland ships orders Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays). We use Canada Post, Purolator & Canpar for delivery. "Free Shipping" will usually be sent through Canpar Ground service. Canpar Ground & Purolator Ground services do not have guaranteed delivery times and the shipping times will only be estimates.

Orders made online after at 11 AM CST on Fridays will ship the following business week. When considering delivery times after an order is placed, please allow 1-3 business days to process your order. Courier delivery times do not include the day the order has been picked up from our warehouse.

Orders that include "special order" items will not be shipped until the "special order" item arrives in our warehouse.

Please provide a street address if you choose "Free Shipping", Canpar or Purolator as your shipping method.

If you have a PO Box, Rural Range Road, Township Road or Site land location address, you must choose Canada Post as your shipping method.
If your address is an apartment or condo, please include the buzzer number.

Both Canpar and Purolator shipments will require a signature upon delivery unless you have requested the shipment to be left at your front door with "no signature required". ** If you do not make this request and are not home to receive your order, an attempted delivery notice will be left at your front door. The notice will indicate the depot where you can pick up your shipment.

**Please note that neither Petland nor the delivery service is liable for any lost or stolen packages if you have requested the shipment to be left at your front door.

Undeliverable packages:

Occasionally, we will have a package returned to us because it was undeliverable. When this occurs, we will issue a full refund for the price of the product plus taxes. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order had "Free Shipping" the shipping charges incurred by Petland for your order will be deducted from the total product refund amount.

We can receive packages as undeliverable for the following reasons:

Missing house number, unit number or buzzer number
Missing street name, City, or province
Incorrect Postal Code
Failed delivery attempts or the item was not picked up from the local depot within 5-10 business days.
Refused by the recipient.
