Important information regarding Canada Post disruptions
Please be advised that the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it intends to begin a national strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET. Canada Post's operations will shut down during the strike. Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the national strike. Canada Post is not accepting any new shipments until the national disruption is over.
Canada Post stated that items will be delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume. All mail and parcels in the postal network will be secured and delivered as quickly as possible on a first-in, first-out basis once operations resume. However, a national strike of any length will impact service to Canadians well after the strike activity ends. Shutting down facilities across the country will affect Canada Post’s entire national network. Processing and delivery may take some time to fully return to normal.
We understand how important it is to receive your orders on time, and are actively working to mitigate any potential disruptions:
Shipping Alternatives: We will be using Canpar and Purolator for all deliveries during this time. In remote communities and PO boxes, where Canada Post is the primary delivery option, some orders may experience changes. If your order is affected, we will reach out to you directly to discuss available options.
*You may still choose Canada Post as a shipping option. If you choose Canada Post, you are agreeing to a delay in shipping. Your order will leave our warehouse when the Canada Post strike is over.
