Certified Organic Kelp – A type of marine seaweed, Kelp supplies approximately 60 minerals, 21 amino acids, and 12 vitamins. It also provides nitrogen, potassium, and micro-nutrients, carbohydrates and essential plant hormones. The regular use of Kelp as  a feed supplement helps increase the utilization of all ingredients in a complete feed ration, improving the overall health and performance of your herbivore fish. Kelp is a very good natural source of Vitamin K. Almost all other fish foods should use Kelp instead of synthetic vitamin K.

Antarctic Krill –  Krill are a type of shrimp-like marine invertebrate animal. Whole Antarctic Krill meal consists of over 60 % high quality protein containing vital amino acids, fatty acids and and vitamins. It supplies minerals such as iron, phosphorus and calcium. It is human consumption grade. Contains a high concentration of Astaxanthin which is a powerful natural pigment and antioxidant. Over 95 % of the pigments present in krill are in the form of Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is not only a natural pigment, but also functions as a photoprotector and antioxidant. Furthermore it has been proven that Astaxanthin has an effect in rates of growth and immunomodulation of fish.   

High DHA Omega-3 Whole Herring Meal – The highest grade fish meal, Whole Herring Meal contains a higher concentration of DHA which promotes healthy development, growth, and colouration in fish. Freshly caught and frozen.

Whole Sardine Meal – Very important and beneficial ingredient, which provides your fish with not just fully digested and absorbed proteins, but also with the following nutrients : Vit B12, Selenium, Phosphorus, Vit D, Calcium, Vit B3, Iodine, Copper, Choline, Vit B2. 

Sardine and Herring meals are one of the most concentrated sources of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. 

Spirulina – This 100% natural blue-green algae is packed with raw proteins and a wide range of vitamins and minerals to promote optimal health and improve immune function. It also contains beta-carotene and other natural pigments for colour enhancement.

Calcium Montmorillonite Clay – Contains 67 minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, silica, and more. Also provides essential trace elements. Helps compensate for previous dietary deficiencies. It has been proven effective in the removal of mycotoxins, fungi, heavy metal, and other toxins from the intestinal tracks of animals. 

Currently, there may be shipping delays in some areas due to inclement weather.

Petland ships orders Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays).  We use Canada Post, Purolator & Canpar for delivery.  "Free Shipping" will usually be sent through Canpar Ground service.  Canpar Ground & Purolator Ground services do not have guaranteed delivery times and the shipping times will only be estimates.  

Orders made online after Friday at 11 AM CST will ship the following business day.  When considering delivery times after an order is placed, please allow 1-3 business days to process your order. Courier delivery times do not include the day the order has been picked up from our warehouse. 

Orders that include "special order" items will not be shipped until the "special order" item arrives in our warehouse.

Please provide a street address if you choose "Free Shipping", Canpar or Purolator as your shipping method. 

• If you have a PO Box, Rural Range Road, Township Road or Site land location address, you must choose Canada Post as your shipping method.
• If your address is an apartment or condo, please include the buzzer number.

Both Canpar and Purolator shipments will require a signature upon delivery unless you have requested the shipment to be left at your front door with "no signature required". **  If you do not make this request and are not home to receive your order, an attempted delivery notice will be left at your front door.  The notice will indicate the depot where you can pick up your shipment.

**Please note that neither Petland nor the delivery service is liable for any lost or stolen packages if you have requested the shipment to be left at your front door.

Undeliverable packages:

Occasionally, we will have a package returned to us because it was undeliverable. When this occurs, we will issue a full refund for the price of the product plus taxes. Shipping charges are non-refundable.  If your order had "Free Shipping" the shipping charges incurred by Petland for your order will be deducted from the total product refund amount.

We can receive packages as undeliverable for the following reasons:

• Missing house number, unit number or buzzer number
• Missing street name, City, or province
• Incorrect Postal Code
• Failed delivery attempts or the item was not picked up from the local depot within 5-10 business days.
• Refused by the recipient.
